What to expect: Satterwhite participates in many special events. Although these shows are not specific to log homes, they are a good match for many Satterwhite customers. Since these are not log home shows, Satterwhite may be the only log home company present. We generally have a small booth located in an exhibit hall, displaying materials and brochures, with Satterwhite staff on hand to answer questions.
Admission fees are collected by the show sponsor. Satterwhite Log Homes does not sell tickets, and complimentary passes are not available. Additional parking fees may apply.

Description |
2009 marks the 12th Anniversary Natural Resource Festival which will be held at the Conference Facility on the northwest corner of Snow College South.
Description from past year's event:
Open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday; and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Exhibits and activities for all family members will emphasize the festival theme, "The Great Outdoors: We're All in it Together." (2007)
Several state and federal public agencies partner with private industry and businesses to sponsor this event, projected by organizers to draw approximately 2500 attendees over the three-day period.
This conservation education festival is an event that informs children and the community about natural resources, and teaches respect for our environment. There will be a wide variety of educational exhibits; many will provide hands-on opportunities for children to explore their natural world. Students will learn about biology, zoology, geology, natural history, archaeology, land ethics, and wilderness safety.
Over 40 exhibits will be presented. The timing of the Natural Resource Festival also celebrates Arbor Day, Earth Day, Wildlife Week, Migratory Bird Week and Wetlands Week.
While there are activities and events for all ages, organizers will host special tours for elementary and middle school children on Thursday and Friday. As in years past, the festival committee will provide free tree seedlings to all festival goers beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. For more information, call the Fishlake National Forest, phone (435) 896-9233.
