Satterwhite Log Homes manufactures a variety of log profiles. These choices offer a range of style and visual appeal, both on the exterior and on the interior of your home.
- D-Shape House Logs
- Our most popular design. Rounded exterior with a flat interior face perfect for outlets & switch plates, plus low upkeep (no "dust catchers"). Rustic variant offers a natural unmilled outer face.
- Double Round House Logs
- Similar to D-Shape logs, but rounded on interior surface identical to exterior. Maximizes look & feel of logs on inside of home.
- Interior Partition Logs
- These logs match flat surface of D-Shape logs, as a decorating option for interior walls where an all-wood look is desired.
- Swedish Coped House Logs
- Features traditional Swedish Coped bottom and an old-fashioned saddle notch (solid) corner system.
- Smokey Mountain House Logs
- Flat sawn surfaces with exterior chinking recess, while retaining double tongue & groove seal for modern home performance and energy efficiency.

Notes:
- Home pricing on this website based on 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" D-Shape house logs. Substitutions will affect total.
- All pricing is per lineal ft.
- Dimensions are Thickness x Height.
- Logs supplied in random lengths, sawed to fit on jobsite.
- Courses needed for 8' wall: 13 for 7 1/2" tall logs, 18 for 5 1/2" tall logs.
- One tube caulk required for each 20' lineal ft., plus additional 30 to 50 tubes for bottom course.
- Screws: Divide total log footage by 600 for number of cases of screws needed.
- Delivery charges not included. Sales tax added where applicable.

About Prices
Satterwhite house logs are available from three locations: 1) our Longview, Texas warehouse; 2) our Gunnison, Utah manufacturing facility; and 3) our new Ellijay, Georgia Eastern Division.
Pricing variations reflect transportation & fuel costs required to stage materials at different Satterwhite locations.
"Log Package" prices apply to log-only orders. "Material Package" discounts require that log costs represent 50% or less of total purchase from Satterwhite Log Homes.
Draw Knife hand worked surface is available. Inquire for pricing and delivery.
Dovetail and Saddle Notching are available on a number of our profiles - ask your salesman. Pricing is per corner, and may vary for non-standard wall heights.
All prices F.O.B. Longview, Texas; Gunnison, Utah; or Ellijay, Georgia. Prices do not include sales tax.
