Second quality logs do not meet wall log 40 grading.
Satterwhite never recommends second quality logs for residential home construction.
Seconds are an excellent choice for outbuildings, barns, hunting leases - application where log home looks count, but so do practicality and economy.
Logs fail stringent Satterwhite standards for any number of reasons.
We strongly recommend that all second quality house logs be inspected prior to purchase. These logs are sold "as is" and may not be refused upon delivery, or returned afterwards.
